Illustration of Bronze Age archer dating to 2300 B.C. whose grave in the town of Amesbury in southwestern England near Stonehenge was first excavated by archeologists in 2002.
The archer, buried at the time the first stones were erected at Stonehenge, is an accurate depiction based on the archeological evidence discovered.
